Mark Gonzales is one of my favorite soul men. An early interview I read with him in Thrasher Magazine back when I was just a little grom was one of the major reasons I wanted to skate and make art. When I moved to the Mission District, I would sometimes watch him cruise down Alabama Street from my porch and I would always freak. I should have said what's up. He seems like he'd be cool with that.

yes! so into his new goal of being the first person to kickflip a bike. i hear he's close.
i think it's incredible how he's keeping that trick alive where you jump over the object and the board keeps on rolling, and you land on it on the other side. i was always embarrassed about that trick until i saw the gonz do it.
hippie ollie
the hippie jump is a great trick. Gonz throws the kick flip into the trick to make it mind blowing. I probably do that one because he made it cool as well. What else is a flat bar at the skatepark good for?
